"Partners"
Inspired by "Will & Grace"
creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick's relationship, this sitcom follows
business partners whose lifelong bromance is threatened by change. David Krumholtz and Michael Urie lead the cast as
straight, uptight Joe and gay, impulsive Louis. Louis is already a handful, but
the addition of Joe's fiancee, Ali (Sophia Bush), and Louis' boyfriend,
Wyatt (Brandon Routh), pushes everyone out
of their comfort zones.

"Go On"
Matthew Perry brings his signature
combination of heart and snark to NBC's new sitcom about grief and group
therapy. MSN TV can get behind Perry as widowed sports talk radio host Ryan
King, and the chemistry between the characters in his oddball "life change"
group (Laura Benanti, Tyler James Williams, Julie White, Suzy Nakamura and Brett Gelman) shines from the
get-go. Hopefully, as the season progresses, "Go On" will also make
good use of John Cho as Ryan's boss, as well as
its rotating roster of athlete guest stars.

"The New Normal"
If Ryan Murphy's NBC sitcom can get past hammering home its "gay's OK"
message, this family comedy about a gay couple (Andrew Rannells and Justin Bartha), their surrogate (Georgia King) and her daughter and
grandmother (Ellen Barkin) could be a big hit. The
characters are delicious, imperfect and adorable, without being saccharine. Even
detestable Nana has her moments, but be warned: This bigot's comments skew to
the completely offensive, as do some of NeNe Leakes' lines as Rocky.

"The Mindy Project"
Mindy Kaling leaves "The Office" behind to
search for true love as an OB-GYN with zero game. Not only does this zany
rom-com addict have unrealistic expectations, but she also seems to have little
control over what comes out of her mouth. With her best friend's (Anna Camp) support, Mindy's top
priorities are to stop taking bootie calls from her douchey British colleague
(Ed Weeks) and keep the local hothead (Chris Messina) from stealing her
patients. Expect a disastrously funny ride, with visits from "Saturday Night Live"
cast members and the addition of Amanda Setton.

"Revolution"
Overhyped concept series rarely fare well in prime time ("Terra Nova," anyone?),
but MSN TV isn't counting out NBC's gorgeous, post-apocalyptic adventure from
"Supernatural" creator
Eric Kripke and producer J.J. Abrams. Set in a world stripped of all electricity
and an America broken by the death of technology, the pilot teases the mystery
of the great blackout, while promising heroic action, intriguing villains and
compelling family dynamics. Tracy Spiridakos, Giancarlo Esposito, Elizabeth Mitchell, Billy Burke, David Lyons and Graham Rogers star.

"Last Resort"
This ABC drama pairs international intrigue and patriotism with the romance
and danger of starting over on a beautiful but treacherous island. When the Navy
crew of the most powerful nuclear submarine ever built receives orders to bomb
Pakistan, the crew demands confirmation, only to be bombed and declared enemies
of the state. In order to prove their innocence and protect America, they take
to the shores of a NATO listening post and declare themselves the world's
smallest sovereign country. This badass ensemble keeps the tension high and
features Andre Braugher, Scott Speedman, Daisy Betts, Dichen Lachman, Autumn Reeser, Daniel Lissing, Sahr Ngaujah, Camille de Pazzis, Robert Patrick and Jessy Schram.

"Elementary"
CBS' modern take on Sherlock Holmes casts Jonny Lee Miller as the brilliant
detective and Lucy Liu as his sober companion
turned sidekick, Dr. Joan Watson. Fresh from a stint in rehab, Holmes throws
himself back into consulting for the NYPD. Watson initially balks at her
charge's methods and madness, only to find they both have a knack for crime
solving. MSN TV enjoyed the chemistry, but if this procedural is going to stand
up to hits like "The Mentalist," Liu's
Watson may need to take better shape.

"Made in Jersey"
Armed with a killer smile and Jersey smarts, first-year associate Martina
Garretti (Janet Montgomery) is about to shake
up Donavan Stark's (Kyle MacLachlan) prestigious
Manhattan law firm and the CBS lineup. In this feel-good law drama, brassy
Martina gets her clients off while balancing the pressures of her swank new
surroundings and her overbearing but supportive Italian family. Donna Murphy, Stephanie March, Toni Trucks and Erin Cummings also star, with Kristoffer Polaha and Megalyn Echikunwoke recently added to
the cast.

"Arrow"
This dark, high-action DC Comics adventure hits the ground running when
Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) returns from the dead
packing a bow and arrow, some serious muscle and a secret mission. The
billionaire immediately re-embraces his former playboy ways and dons a hood to
take down the bad guys, avenge his father and save his city as Green Arrow. This
ass-kicking vigilante is prepared for anything, except perhaps the reveal that
he's not the only one hiding behind a harmless identity. Susanna Thompson, Colin Donnell, David Ramsey, Willa Holland and Paul Blackthorne also star.

TV fans do not want to miss these!
By Deanna Barnert Special to MSN TV
With a fresh round of heroes, villains, divas and goofballs coming to prime
time this fall, here are 10 new shows TV fans won't want to miss. Some of these
premieres will draw you in from the very first scenes. Others are still finding
their mojo but show serious promise. Pilots are a tricky business, after all. To
come up with our top 10, MSN TV considered the power of the concepts, the
pedigree of the casts and crews, and the potential we saw in early screeners,
which were not for review. Once these contenders take off (assuming the networks
give them time!), you may be sorry you missed the first chapters.
"Nashville"
ABC's country drama is poised to become prime time's next soapy addiction,
not to mention an iTunes favorite. Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere square off deliciously as
dueling divas as "Nashville" delves into the ugly business of making country
music, the beauty of real talent and the glamour of success. Tack on love
triangles, family drama and an ensemble that features Powers Boothe, Eric Close, Clare Bowen, Jonathan Jackson, Sam
Palladio, Charles Esten and Robert Wisdom and "Nashville" hits all the right
chords.
